Sasha is coming home! She is between courses in her degree with YWAM’s University of the Nations and will be with us for a couple of months. For those who don’t know… Sasha is one of our overseas missionaries that we as a church and some individuals support. It’s going to be great to have her back and for her to be able to reconnect with us all.

Because her finances are tight we want to bless her while she’s here and so the Connect Team have decided to have a fundraising dinner… with a twist!

Introducing … ‘The International Food Festival.’ This will be an event you won’t want to miss! Imagine experiencing food from all around the world without leaving the country.

But we do need your help. We have people from many different nations in our church community and are asking people to volunteer to make a dish representing their culture. We envisage that mostly it would be finger food and/or small dishes so that people can sample a little bit from all the countries’ cuisines. We will pay for any costs to make the food.

And of course we will need people to buy tickets and invite friends, family and neighbours to come along and support this fundraiser for Sasha. So please save the date … 31st August.
