Alpha is an 11-week course that creates a space, online or in person, where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about life, faith and Jesus. As long as there are people- it can be run! Usually aimed for new-believers.
Pre-Marriage Course
The 5-session Alpha Pre-Marriage Course is for couples who are exploring the idea of getting married and for those who are already engaged. Join us as we discover Communication, Conflict, Commitment, Connection and Adventure
The Marriage Course
You don't have to have issues in your relationship to do this, in fact, it's better to just do it! This is an Alpha 7-session Course where we rediscover/explore/learn more about Strengthening Connection, The Art of Communication, Resolving Conflict, The Power of Forgiveness, The Impact of Family, Good Sex and Love in Action
Parenting Course
Parenting is hard- that's a fact. The courses are for parents, step-parents, prospective parents or carers, whether you’re parenting on your own, step-parenting or parenting as a couple.
The Parenting Courses are based on Christian principles but designed for people with or without a church background.
We have run both the Children (0-10 years) and Teenagers (11-18 years) course.
Christians Against Poverty Money Course
CAP walks alongside whānau — ending money chaos in Aotearoa. Freed from debt and poverty, people are financially resilient — as they strengthen their relationships with money, self, others and God.
You don’t need to be good with money to take this course. In fact, it’s designed to be relevant to everyone – whether you’re facing a reduced income or job loss, are self-employed, or simply after a tune-up for your finances.
During this three-session course, you’ll identify exactly how you spend your money and learn to prioritise the things that are most important to you. You’ll also learn to live well within your means, while managing or preventing debt, and saving for your future. The course uses a simple, cash-based system that really works.
