Blurb – 1st October 2017

The other day I came across this sentence – God is impeccable. I’ve never used that word to describe God. This was new to me. So I looked up its meaning.
Impeccable means, among other things, ‘in accordance with the highest standards; faultless; untarnished; flawless, without sin etc.’
In a word, PERFECT!
I started pondering and my thoughts lingered on God’s impeccable timing.
2 Peter 3vs 9 – “The Lord is not slow about His promise….. but is patient toward you…”.
He’s always on time, never a second too late nor a minute too early. Remember how He arrived in Bethany 4 days after Lazarus’ death? Too late, thought Mary and Martha. But He had His reasons. It was all under control.
Like me, many of us will have a list of things we’ve been praying about and waiting on God for. Maybe even for years. It looks like our prayers are bouncing off the ceiling. Not getting anywhere. Let us take heart and remember that our Heavenly father loves us too much to ignore us. He treasures every moment we spend with Him. He does hear and He will answer.
Hebrews 4vs 16 – “let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need”.
Impeccable – a new facet of our amazing God!
