Church Camp was a fantastic experience!
The Connect Team prepared for it for nearly a year, but it was worth all the effort.

“FREEDOM!”
This word still rings in my ears and resonates in my heart. We had wonderful times of worship and prayer. The testimonies shared, especially on the last day, were both exciting and sad.

Exciting, because we heard – and I am still hearing – stories of how God had broken the chains of fear and the hold that the past had on them. Many were freed from the sins of their past generations. Some received confirmation of God-given promises, new direction and purpose to their lives.

Sad, because we became aware that so many in our Church Family were struggling and carrying heavy loads. Some had the courage to share them openly and in doing so, lightened their own hearts and burdens. Many had the opportunity to do this privately during the ministry times with our guest speakers, Steve and Robin Whittle. No doubt, lots more did so within their little groups of trusted friends.
Question is… What now?
After all, Camp was more than 3 weeks ago!
Do we ‘waste’ what God has shown us, forgetting precious lessons learnt?
How do we continue on this journey of personal freedom that started for us?
How do we build on the connections and friendships made and renewed?

“IT IS FOR FREEDOM THAT CHRIST SET US FREE. STAND FIRM, THEN, AND DO NOT LET YOURSELVES BE BURDENED AGAIN BY A YOKE OF SLAVERY”. Gal 5:1

Blessings,
Loges

P.S – If you missed going to camp, why not talk to someone who did and ask what they got out of it?
